The amount of water removed during drying and the estimated amount of fuel required

⑴Weight of raw grain The untreated rice, which had just been harvested, was called raw rice. The unit of weight for the rice is kg.

⑵The amount of water removed during drying

The amount of water from the grain during the drying process is calculated as follows

The amount of water removal = The total weight of the charge grain /100 ×reduce moisture × 1.2 (kg)

⑶Estimated amount of fuel required

The environmental climatic conditions will affect fuel consumption; the calculation method is as follows:

When the fuel by diesel, required amount of diesel =amount of removal water / 10 (kg)

When the fuel by coal, required amount of coal=amount of removal water /10×2 (kg)

When the fuel by hulling, required amount of hulling=amount of removal water /10×3 (kg)

When the temperature is low, the denominator's value 10 is changed to 9 or 8. In that case, the amount of fuel required increases.

E.g. the total weight of the charge grain is 10000 kg, required reduce moisture is 10, in that case, the amount of water removal is 1200 kg.

Required diesel is 120 kg.

The amount of water removal=10000 /100×10× 1.2=1200kg

Required diesel=1200/10 =120kg
